This review has been a long time coming...I wanted to make sure I really tried all 3 of the products out before writing this, so I could give a fair and honest review of each!

Ok, so... a few months back, I was contacted by the lovely Raylene from Australian company 1 Skin Solution, after including her Vanilla Lip Balm in my Lust Have It favourites video. She asked me if I would like to try a few more of her products out...and, of course, I said a big YES!! :D

Three products come in the Bath & Body Travel Pack: the Lime Thyme body wash, the Vanilla Bean body cream and the Bath & Shower Crystals – and they come in a little white & clear plastic travel bag, ready to take on holidays with you. And that is what I did! (Well, I used them a couple of times before taking them on holidays...I couldn’t wait almost 3 months to try them!! I’m not that patient!! LOL)

Let’s start on the products, shall we? First up, the Lime Thyme Body Wash. Notice it is a ‘body wash’ and not a ‘shower gel’ – this is a liquid consistency, so don’t do what I almost did and tip half of the bottle onto your hand before realising what you’ve done! (I blame it on being woken up way too early by an overly excited cat! Oh, and if you’re wondering, I did manage to salvage every bit of the body wash before it overflowed!)

ANYWAY, back to the product... the first thing that hits you is the fresh, clean citrus-herbal fragrance that does a great job at waking you up (a million times better than the aforementioned feline)! Being a huge citrus fan, I liked the initial burst of tartness I got as soon as I started to lather up – but then the thyme somehow made the scent turn slightly medicinal on my skin. It’s unfortunate that it didn’t stay the same as it did when first applying it, but hey, you can’t have everything, right? It still smells good on my skin, so it’s not a giant letdown.

How does it compare to other body washes and shower gels I’ve used? It lathers up really well – not super foamy with lots of bubbles, but it definitely does a great job at leaving your skin clean! While I would recommend the Lime Thyme Body Wash to both men & women, I think men would like the smell a bit more than the ladies...but it comes down to your personal taste in scents.

Next up is the Bath and Shower Crystals – this can be used as either bath crystals or a body scrub, so it’s dual purpose! I’ve only used it as a scrub, basically because I don’t like the bath in our house! :D I mainly use it on my legs and arms, and it does a good job at exfoliating. It’s not my favourite body exfoliator (which, at the moment is Lush’s Sugar Scrub), but I’d definitely put it in my top 5!

Fragrance-wise, it’s a combination of lime and lavender, which I think works a lot better (on my skin at least) than the lime-thyme blend. Also, because of it being part brown sugar and sea salt, there is a sweet and salty aspect to the fresh and herbal scent, which I like. Again, I do get a bit of a medicinal smell after a while, but it’s not something that affects me too much. I think I may have to get over my dislike of our bath and try it as a bath soak – I think it’d work nicely!

Last, but definitely not least, is my favourite of the three products. The Vanilla Bean Body Cream is GORGEOUS!!! I will say it again... GORGEOUS!!! Starting with the smell – oh my goodness does this smell amazing! You may or may not know that I absolutely love vanilla fragrances, so it comes as no surprise that I really love this cream. You don’t get a synthetic headache-inducing vanilla or sickly-sweet bubblegum scent with this product – to me, it smells more like homemade or top-quality white marshmallows...yum! The fragrance stays with you for quite a while, so you may have to go with a vanilla fragrance as your scent of the day, so you don’t have a clash of aromas! (Not a good thing!)

This body cream, while it is a tiny bit more liquidy than a lot of body lotions/creams that I’ve tried, is not greasy in the slightest. It’s extremely moisturizing, thanks to the blend of macadamia, sweet almond and sunflower oils, and the addition of Vitamin E helps protect your skin from damage and lots of other good stuff! Of the three products in the set, this would be the one I’d very happily buy a full size bottle of, so I could indulge in the vanilla bean goodness to my heart’s content!

All-in-all, 1 Skin Solution’s travel pack is great! Three fantastic products in convenient sizes and at an affordable price! It’s not only great for taking with you on trips, but it’s also ideal for introducing yourself to the company’s fantastic products!
